EMPTY CANVAS PAINTING WORKSHOP
With Carol Levow and Lynn Zavaro
Whether you are creatively inspired, uninspired or want to get inspired, a trained artist or never picked up a brush since you were five - this workshop is for you:
Come unleash your creative potential as we face the empty canvas together through form and color.
The Empty Canvas workshop uses painting as a tool for self-discovery and awakens us to what is original and alive inside our true nature. Through the use of self-inquiry and questioning whatever stops the brush from moving, participants uncover their authentic painting expression. Fears and judgments blocking our creative urges are used as the keys to unlock hidden wonder. Discover a vast freedom that exists outside the confines of our critical minds.
Dip into your creative flow using a rich array of bright tempera colors, paper and fine quality brushes. Paint without having to live up to expectations, for the sheer joy of experiencing, rather than for an end product. This is creating in an intimate way that opens us to the beauty and mystery of our lives.
This workshop is given in a supportive and safe environment, stimulating self-realization, a place where your given creative intelligence has room to invent and play. Paint without outside pressures and feel the aliveness of your heart. No prior experience is necessary, only a willingness to be surprised!
